I feel like it has been a long time since I posted about Blockheads as I passed on Block #11. I am glad to be back.
Moda Blockheads week 12 is a splendid block called Puzzled by Carrie Nelson. I love how the block comes together and I did not have to use Jack the Ripper at all. When this quilt-along is over this block will be in the top running to be in a quilt with all Puzzled blocks. I think an entire quilt made with all different colors will be striking.
My color choices, as usual, are pretty bland but I think when all the blocks are arranged they will play nicely together. I do admit when I look at all the different color combinations that followers post on the Face Book Blockheads page I feel a little left out. During these twelve weeks I have not noticed any color combination that I did not like.

I don’t think your color choices are bland at all. I like them!

Thank you. I guess I am accustomed to sewing baby quilts with bright colors. This quilt will be for ME so it is getting the brown tones. 🙂

I agree. We tend to use bright colors for our baby quilts – except this one we are making for our niece who wants gray. I like the warm tones though, and always favor beige. ~smile~
