Moda Blockheads – Block #16

DSCN1074

It’s Wednesday again and time for another Moda Blockheads Block of the Week. We are already on block #16 of 48. Jan Patek is the designer of Flags for this week. It is another applique block and I was lucky to have the red/white stripe and the blue with white stars fabrics in my stash so I did not need to piece the tiny stripes.

I am a retired grandmother living in sunny and hot Florida. I spend most of my days doing what I love: sewing and quilting. I have a spoiled rotten Boston Terrier named Sami who keeps me busy mostly by cleaning up after her and refilling holes in the yard that she insists on digging and burying her toys. Of course then she digs them up and brings them into the house resulting in...you guessed it...more cleaning. I will be posting pictures of Sami, quilts, flowers, and other things as they come along. Glad to have you join me.

    1. Thanks Roseanne. I posted my first blog in December knowing absolutely nothing about blogging other than I knew I enjoyed reading other peoples. I am struggling along and learning as I go. I have to say, your blog is very enjoyable and I look forward to reading your posts.

      1. Hi Peggy! That is sweet of you to say. I am DEFINITELY still learning – but it should be a process, just like quilting. Hopefully in the improving direction . . . but that’s what rippers are for when we make mistakes. ~smile~ I’ll be glad to help you all I can! Roseanne
