I Wish You A Merry QAL, Block #5

DSCN1225

Block 5 of the I Wish You A Merry Quilt-A-Long is the Snowman by Sherry Shish of Powered by Quilting. As you can see, my snowman has a little problem with crossed eyes but I’m sure he will grow out of it.

With this block I am finally caught up after dealing with Hurricane Irma. I am so glad to be back in my sweat shop so I can just sew my troubles away. 🙂

I am a retired grandmother living in sunny and hot Florida. I spend most of my days doing what I love: sewing and quilting. I have a spoiled rotten Boston Terrier named Sami who keeps me busy mostly by cleaning up after her and refilling holes in the yard that she insists on digging and burying her toys. Of course then she digs them up and brings them into the house resulting in...you guessed it...more cleaning. I will be posting pictures of Sami, quilts, flowers, and other things as they come along. Glad to have you join me.

  1. Hi Peggy,
Your snowman looks like he is at the edge of a really cute little town with the background fabric you chose – how cool! I think he looks like he is rolling his eyes after someone said something silly to him. It gives him a great personality. ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Thank you. It is the best medicine for me. When I was working and something bad happened at home I would always say to myself, “just get to work and it will take your mind off things.” Now I say that about my sweat shop. 🙂
