Moda Blockheads BOW #35 of 48

DSCN1306

Moda Blockheads block of the week #35 is called Northridge and it is designed by  Lisa Bongean. It was not a quick block for me but as long as the seam allowances are consistent it goes together very well. I think it will be a great addition to our quilt. Thanks Lisa and Moda for bringing us all these beautiful block designs at no cost.

I am a retired grandmother living in hot and sunny Florida. I spend most of my days doing what I love: sewing and quilting. I have a spoiled rotten Boston Terrier named Sami who keeps me busy mostly by cleaning up after her and refilling holes in the yard that she insists on digging and burying her toys. Of course then she digs them up and brings them into the house resulting in...you guessed it...more cleaning. I will be posting pictures of Sami, quilts, flowers, and other things as they come along. Glad to have you join me.

  1. Hi Peggy!
Wowee – that center fussy cut tree is just fabulous! It looks perfecto surrounded by the other blocks. And is that a paisley in the brown fabric? I haven’t noticed that before – it’s very suttle and very cool! Nice block. This is going to be one beau-ti-ful quilt when it’s all together! ~smile~ Roseanne
