Moda Blockheads Block of the Week #36 is called Shoo Dat by Carrie Nelson. This block looks a lot more complicated than it is. It went together very quickly and the cutting was a breeze.

This block’s name is derived from the historical block it is derived from…clever!
I like it and wonder the design it would produce in a completed quilt.

Thanks Laura. I think it would look lovely in a quilt using only this block. I enjoyed working on it.

Hi Peggy,
I think this is the first time I’ve seen you use shades of purple in these series of block. I’ve going to have to go back and look at your beginning blocks – I don’t recall those at all. Really nice – this looks like a fun block to make. ~smile~ Roseanne

How wonderful that the block went together smoothly. We all need something like that to happen to us once and a while. Hi Sammi! 🙂
