Robin at Imperial Crochet here at Word Press shared a blog where she honored a blogger friend that she is thankful for. This idea came from her friend Bonnie and she thought it would be a good idea for others to do the same. With Robin’s permission, I borrowed the idea and wish to honor my blogging friend, Roseanne of Home Sewn By Us.
Roseanne is always the first person to respond to blogs with an upbeat and complimentary note. I cannot figure out how she gets so many things accomplished and still takes the time to make everyone feel special by reading our blogs and giving us suggestions and ideas. She posts quilting tutorials that are easy to follow and beautiful pictures of her great nephew that I always look forward to seeing. Her pictures of the quilts she and Sue make have given me many ideas and I am thankful for her.
In addition to her Word Press blog she has a very active Face Book page and an Etsy Store where she sells her quilts. If you enjoy quilts and sewing, Home Sewn By Us is a great blog to follow.
There are so many bloggers that have made me feel welcome and encouraged me during my blogging experience. I am thankful to have found such a wonderful group to associate with during my ramblings.
What an awesome idea to thank fellow bloggers. I’m new, but have found so many neat ideas through blogs!

Thanks AJ. I didn’t come up with the idea but wanted to get in on it. Blogs have helped me so much.

I would totally agree! I think she is one of the nicest bloggers I have come across. She reacts to and writes comments that make you feel like she is your friend and you are having a conversation with her. I never feel like her comments are canned or rushed! Thank you for honoring her! 🙂

PEGGY COOPER!!
What??!! Am I slow to the party or what today?! This has got to be the nicest thing anyone has ever done, said or written about me. Holy moly. You are bringing tears to my eyes. I was spending sometime today with that little guy, and I just realized I hadn’t checked on my blogger friends yet today. Cripes. This means more to me than you’ll ever know. Really. I am so touched. Thank you my friend – you have put a big smile on my face. I do count you among my blessings each day, and I know we will meet in person some day so I can give you (and Sami) a big ‘ole {{hug}} in person. ~smile~ Roseanne

Be careful what you wish for…everyone loves Sami…until they meet her (and me too) You are one of my blessings and I wanted to let you know. I knew you were with the ‘boy’ when you hadn’t blogged today. Enjoy the attention. You’ve earned it.

Oh my,
I don’t even know how to reply to this. It is a wonderful, thoughtful idea and I would love to play it forward myself. I just wrote about this same thing last night in my loves for Thursday . . . which happens to be Thanksgiving. It amazes me that people can make such a connection through these blogs – a truly touching, lasting one. {{Hugs}} and thank you again. ~smile~ Roseanne

I am very thankful to Roseanne as well. She always has an encouraging reply to all my posts and some very helpful advise when I first started blogging which was not too long ago. Thanks again Roseanne
